Angel Investing Workshop led by Rajesh Sawhney and Vikram Chachra at LetsVenture

Angel investing landscape has been seeing a lot of changes lately with new investors making inroads into startup investing. It has become important to analyse the angel investing trends and forecast the future trends. LetsIgnite aims to facilitate it through panel discussions and roundtables with thought leaders of the Indian and global startup ecosystem.

We have always strived to make LetsIgnite a content-led conference that enriches you with knowledge, true connections and real investment opportunities.A major avenue to enrich an angel investor's knowledge arsenal is our Angel Investing Masterclass. We had the unforgettable 'jugalbandi' between Shekhar Kirani (Accel Partners) and Sharad Sharma in 2016, when they brought brilliant insights and diverse insights from their vast experience as VC and angel investor respectively. We have investors still reminiscing about this session after all these months.March 2017 saw a different kind of a masterclass. Anupam Mittal, a respected entrepreneur and a super-angel kickstarted the workshop by touching upon the broad contours and learnings he has had over the years as an angel investor. He highlighted the importance of what he calls, Angel Karma, the need to NOT be a jerk. “Angel investing is not a science, but something you intuit; deciding quickly and not leading founders on, creates a lot of Angel Karma.”Anand Chandrasekharan of Facebook, who specialises in understanding and investing in platform businesses, shared the biggest commandments that an angel investor must live by and concurred with Anupam’s idea of Angel Karma. He also stressed on the importance of being straight and honest with founders from the beginning.See the full video of the masterclass of March 2017 here:

The 4th edition's Mumbai chapter is going to bigger and better. Rajesh Sawhney, Founder of GSF Accelerator and Co-Founder at Innerchef, Vikram Chachra of Eight Innovate Partners and Arvind Mathur of Private Equity Pro Partners form the heavyweight masterclass line up this time.Rajesh has made 70 angel investments as an active and engaged angel investor, which include Viki (acquired by Rakuten for USD 225M), Little Eye Labs (acquired by Facebook), Mobstac, Pokkt, Silverpush, Hackerearth and more.Vikram on the other hand has invested in 25 companies since 2007, 11 of which have become category leaders.During this workshop, they will be sharing their success stories as well as their failures in investments. Particularly, they will be sharing their thoughts on:
